Eleanor is the publisher, editor and general “dog’s body” of the Petzgazette!
Wearing the many hats that a business owner adorns means she is always busy, whether it’s researching each month’s editorial content, book-keeping, sales & marketing to liasing with the many readers and
advertisers that contact her on a daily basis!
Originally from the UK, Eleanor has been a Thousand Oaks resident for the past 25 years. Prior to becoming a Southern California girl, she spent many years in the UK and Europe working in the corporate world, from being the Chief Executive Administrator for a very prominent UK corporation, to creating & designing marketing and advertising campaigns. Prior to that, the ‘70’s and ’80’s was spent in the Catering and Entertainment industry.
Animals have always played a big part in Eleanor’s life, even as a child growing up with horses, donkeys,
dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs! There was always a menagerie of pets wherever she lived.
2010 saw the creation of Petzgazette.com and Eleanor hasn’t looked back since. “It is my joy and passion to create new, fun & interesting content every month for the many thousands of readers and followers we have since its inception”. And all the while, helping to promote and bring awareness to the many local rescue groups who work so tirelessly saving animal lives and finding them ‘forever’ homes.
